Commercial Director

Michael leads NuVideo’s commercial strategy, covering sales, marketing, pricing and strategic partnerships. He focuses on delivering sustainable growth while ensuring client satisfaction and long-term value.

Away from the office, he’s a passionate music lover, record collector and DJ.

Gavin McGurk

Managing Director

For over 30 years, Gavin has been the driving force behind NuVideo, ensuring smooth operations and strong team leadership. His hands-on approach and attention to detail keep projects and people moving efficiently. 

Outside of work, he’s a keen runner and completed the London Marathon in 2021 on behalf of Marie Curie.

Neil MacNeil

Technical Director

A founding director of NuVideo, Neil brings decades of experience from a background in telecoms and AV integration. He’s passionate about emerging technology and stays ahead of the curve by actively engaging with supplier webinars and industry developments. Neil ensures NuVideo remains at the forefront of AV innovation.

COMPANY HISTORY

1972

Systems Reliability Scotland is incorporated as a subsidiary of Systems Reliability based in Luton, U.K. Selling and supporting their market leading telecommunications Call Management products.

1992

The management of Systems Reliability Scotland purchased the subsidiary outright from the parent company in Luton.

1995

Further developments in the telecommunications marketplace are recognised as being a huge growth area and with that in mind SRS Telecom is incorporated as a subsidiary of the business.

1996

A management buyout of SRS Telecom is completed. Telephone Systems and Voice Recording technology are added to the rapidly expanding product portfolio.

1999

SRS Telecom becomes one of the first companies in the UK selling the Tandberg range of videoconferencing equipment.

2003

NuVideo is incorporated to focus on the growing videoconferencing and audio visual marketplace.

2006

NuVideo awarded Codian Reseller of the Year UK.

2008

Becomes Tandberg accredited service partner.

2011 & 2012

Winner the CISCO Business Video Partner of the Year Award.

2013

Wins the contract to design and implement the first National NHS Scotland Videoconferencing Infrastructure solution, supporting over 1000 videoconferencing systems nationwide.

2014

Commissioned to deploy the first of 3 “Smart Rooms” for Total E&P UK, providing real time video and audio collaboration from its Headquarters in Aberdeen to its oil platforms in the North Sea.

2014

NuVideo exceeds a turnover in excess of £4 Million for the first time.

2017

Wins major contract to design, supply & install the Audio-visual and Videoconferencing systems for the new Royal Infirmary in Dumfries & Galloway.

2019

Designs, develops, and installs one of the largest LED video walls in Europe as part of a multi-million-pound re-development of Edinburgh Airport.

2020

Provides support to the NHS throughout the Covid-19 pandemic, delivering audiovisual and videoconferencing solutions to meet their requirements throughout the crisis.

2022

Achieves Gold Partner Status with Barco.

2025

Our brand gets a new look and feel.
