Terms & Conditions
1. Definitions
“Company” refers to nuvideo limited. “Client” refers to the company purchasing our goods and/or services. “Goods” refers to the equipment and materials supplied. “Services” refers to installation, configuration, and maintenance work.
2. Validity of Quotation
All quotations are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated.
3. Payment Terms
Payment is due within 30 days of the invoice date. The Company reserves the right to charge interest on overdue payments in accordance with the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.
4. Delivery and Installation
Delivery and installation dates are estimates only and subject to availability. The Company will not be liable for any delay beyond its reasonable control.
5. Ownership and Risk
Ownership of Goods remains with the Company until full payment is received. Risk passes to the Client upon delivery to the site.
6. Warranty
All hardware is covered by the manufacturer’s warranty. The Company provides a 12-month warranty on workmanship from the date of installation. This excludes faults caused by misuse, unauthorised modification, or external factors. Extended manufacturer warranties may be available subject to the manufacturer’s terms and conditions.
7. Customer-Supplied Equipment
Where the Client provides equipment for installation, the Company reserves the right to apply a handling or integration charge. The Company accepts no responsibility for the performance, compatibility, or warranty of any customer-supplied equipment. Installation of such equipment is undertaken at the Client’s own risk.
8. Site Readiness
The Client is responsible for ensuring that the installation site is ready and that all necessary pre-requisites have been met prior to the scheduled installation date. This includes, but is not limited to, provision of power, network connectivity, physical access, and any other site-specific requirements communicated by the Company. Failure to meet these conditions may result in delays or cancellations, for which the Company reserves the right to apply additional charges.
9. Support and Maintenance
Ongoing support and maintenance services are available under separate agreement and are not included in the quotation unless explicitly stated.
10. Cancellations and Returns
Orders may not be cancelled or returned once accepted, except at the Company’s discretion and subject to restocking fees. Bespoke or special-order items are non-returnable.
11. Limitation of Liability
The Company’s liability is limited to the value of the Goods and Services supplied. The Company shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses.
12. Governing Law
These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Scotland. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish courts.
