Challenge: Make first impressions matter
Edinburgh Airport required an expansive LED panel running above their baggage carousel at check-in. One that was clearly visible throughout the hall, offering striking visuals and video at distance, and as close as 2 meters – all while working with limited ceiling height.
Solution: Teamwork and technical mastery
Teaming up with the tech wizards at Datapath, our NuVideo solution was a huge canvas of 560 Absen A2725 Plus cabinets – amounting to whopping 2,240 LED modules that made use of every bit of space we had to play with.
And how did we put this all together? With 140 prefabricated frames mounted on to the surface of the wall, each consisting of four Absen cabinets, interconnected in a daisy chain fashion.
Outcome: Supersized visual impact
Check-in at Edinburgh Airport is now an immersive, impactful and informative experience for travellers, acting as a seamless and streamlined messaging service.
The 85-meter display cannot be missed and allows for clear announcements, the latest updates and airport marketing, visible throughout the hall.
